Hey, so lets post about books publicly so anyone can read what we have to say. Keep the account info private!

I took advantage of the sale audible was having and got two short books that I did not want to waste my monthly membership on. Think both of these look good.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon
Portuguese Irregular Verbs - Alexander McCall Smith

I also got Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell and I am trying to decide on my last book.I might got for Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell or Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. And I am stilling trying to get a feel for George R.R. Martin.

Tracy - Claire and I think you should look at the Blind Assassin as a book for next month. What you think?

Sure whatever. I just finished Oryx and Craik, so anything will be good.

Again with the NPR listening, but I heard about Curious and had wondered about it in passing.

Oryx and Craik was well written, with thoughtful character insight, and grim in the end. Grim. But amanda would definately enjoy the Craik character. :D
